i have sprayed the back of my headlight cases on my 4b and put them on the car they looks realy realy mad and will only have to take them off when it comes night time. but for day driving they realy nice and finish off nicely. can anyone find out if they are elegal in qld or not because u can still see all indicators on the car too. thnx ben.

i didnt tint my glass i painted the housing black but left the recflective there....
used for night and day time driving 2.... i heard tinting the glass and blacking the reflective is defect.

Are you talking about headlight covers? Like, clip on, clip off type? or the actual headlight surround?
If it's just the covers, I suspect you will get pulled over, but will be sternly warned NOT to drive at night.
There was a guy who had colour coded a set of headlight protectors on a BA falcon and the police gave him a very strongly worded warning on the consequences should he drive the car at night with the covers on there. He explained that it was never his intention to drive at night with them on and they let him go. however NOT after going over his entire car with a fine tooth comb.
It may not be a defect, you may get away with it, but it will draw unwanted attention to the rest of your vehicle.

yer they are just the cases.(clip on,clip off) i have done it but will not be driving with them at night as u cannot see them. cheers.
