So anyway I've been getting this shooting pain down my forearm when i do most tricep related movements, i figured it was some nerve issue.
Hit up the physio today, he pretty much confirmed this but said it was quite common and fixable. Did some 'dry needling' in my arm which hurt reasonably bad. However said after another session next week the nerve pain should hopefully be gone!
Also i have ganglions in both wrists which can be a massive pain in the arse when lifting, if they're stirred up. This can only be fixed by surgery

About 2 years ago I was lifting a roadcase about 1.25 cubic metre sized roadcase with a workmate in the back of a truck. It would have weighed around 120kg.
As we lifted he suddenly lost his grip on the handles on his side and the roadcase fell with the weight of the case twisting me and bending me sideways to the left almost 90 degrees at the hip.
This did quite a bit of damage to my muscles and I had a lot of pain around my T8 & T10 vertebrae and my lats. I ended up having nearly three months off work while I rehabilitated. For a long time I had a lot of lower back pain for almost 24 hours a day.
When I do a heavy set of seated rows now or a similar exercise I can feel little pin pricks of pain around the nerves in my erector spinae and I often still wake up with lower back pain. I also feel a bit of pain in my back from the pressure that a heavy leg press puts on it when bracking against the backrest of the seat.

I have a fucking ear infection at the moment.
Haven't been to the gym for over 5 days as my balance has gone to shit. Chewing food hurts my ear canal as well so I haven't been eating as much as I should while trying to bulk up.
Makes working as a sound engineer hard too cos I can't hear properly.

Dislocated my shoulder playing game of footy last year, it was just after half way through the game when it happened, just tackled a guy a bit wrong and bang out she popped, stood there having a WTF moment for a sec not being able to move my arm and wondering what i had done because i couldn't really feel shit for about 20 secs then i tried to move it with a fair bit of force and it popped back in which hurt like shit....this is the point where i should have stopped playing but it was a charity match to raise money for my mates who got bashed to deaths foundation so i kept playing, was ok for the rest of the match but that night was all kinds of fucked up. Stupid thing is i never saw the physio about it and it's still pretty bad, alot weaker and i still don't have full movement and it feel like i can pop out again easily....really need to see that physio.

I went back to the physio because the needles seemed to make my arm worse ..couldnt even bench on monday. He said that was normal for the 1st session to do that, it just 'activated more triggers' which he stuck more needles into.
last appointment next week no matter what i think, at $85 ill figure something out

I've torn my left rotatorcuff a couple of times, and a slight tear in my left pec once, and both are playing up a bit at the moment. Sadly it's been flaring up more because of work than anything. Getting a bit frustrated with my strength levels in all areas at the moment, seems I had too long a break from proper training, and muscle memory just isn't what it used to be. So definately won't be competing this year, really need to get my quads back up to scratch before I can even consider it.

Sublaxed rib from Muay Thai, I went to the physio and she was able to move it back in a little bit but is still out. So you can imagine my erector spinae and traps tightening around the area to protect it I had very little movement at one stage, it hurt like hell when it happend!!

trained bench and tri's last night didnt notice the nerve. Don't know if it was from physio treatment or because i had it strapped. My trainer doesnt want me going deep with dips, military press, bench and pulldowns for a while though which is a bit crap

My it bands have just started playing up due to all the running and increased work load from weights. Damn it hurts, especially when you get a massive shock in the side of the knee..
Also have sciatica in right leg that plays up if i don't stretch my piriformis enough, now this hurts!!
Also have disc protrusion in L4/L5 which is linked to my sciatica..thus cains when i don't do an exercise correctly. This mainly plays up if i do a bent of row and not in the exact position i should be..

Both knees have had ligiments pulled and torn over the years, left knee is worse and will require a re-co in the future. Every morning in winter it is aching and i cant walk real crash on it for about 10 minutes until it loosens up a bit.
Smashed my right hip into the goal posts playing junior footy as a kid, couldnt run on it for a few months and it still hurts in the cold.
And a bit of sciatica in winter the last few years gives me greif, but ive found a good solution for that over the last week so hopefully i can control that.
Done plenty of injuries but they've all healed up 100%, those 3 are the constant nigglers though.

I've had good news, nothing structural. Was pretty much as I suspected. I have tight IT bands down the side of my quads and my hips are too weak compared to the rest of my quad muscles, which is pulling my knee caps out to the sides. A few weeks of exercises along with massages and I'll be back squating in no time.

Well I have a new injury to put me out of training for a few weeks now. Have a slight fracture and sprained ligaments in my left hand from a motorcross accident on Thursday. My hand is blown up massive with swelling, and can't do much with it at all. Certainly can't use it, not even to pick up car keys. Typing is a bitch, back to one hand lol.
No point in getting upset about it, just take some more time off and get it better before I come back. So I will have the best calves in the gym after the next few weeks lol.

Its pretty much always my left shoulder, was benching and went a bit wide and my dumb fuck spotter wasn't looking and I started calling his name because people were all around me and I couldn't drop it or I'd hurt them, pulled my shoulder like all fuck and I got this searing pain and dropped it. I went absolutely nuts at my spotter..

^^^ similar thing happened to me yesterday. I was an idiot and decided to do military press without a spotter going until fail on my third set...needless to say go to my 12th rep, nearly failed so i push hard and the weight in my left arm feel backwards and just about dislocated my shoulder as i tried to drop it. Was a scary occurrence because i could have easily dislocated my shoulder or broken something. It hurts like shit now and keep clicking

From top to bottom...
Neck - I stretch it and it cracks. Every day. Several times a day.
Clicky jaw (karate)
Torn sterno-clavicular ligaments (jujitsu)
Torn R shoulder ligaments (jujitsu)
Torn L elbow ligaments (gymnastics)
Arthroscopies on both wrists (gymnastics)
Crushed meniscus with both knees (jujitsu)
Torn L calf muscle (boxercise, then re-done 2x jujitsu)
Torn R ankle ligaments (jujitsu)
Yeah, I know, I see the pattern too, but all my ligaments and joints are screwed from gymnastics.

Well it's been nearly four weeks, and today I gripped a 2kg dumb bell in my left hand. Did some slight rotator cuff movements, still very slight pain in the hand, but not too bad. Still a few more weeks til I can do anything with it really. But at least it feels like it's getting there slowly. In the meantime, I have awesome calves lol.

Well it's now just over 5 weeks since my hand injury, and just over 6 weeks since I have done any upper body training til today. I am now able to do some back exercises, cable row and lat pull downs. I can grip the bar by making a hook with my 4 fingers, leaving my thumb well out of it. So pulling exercises I can do, still a fair way off any pushing for chest or shoulders. But happy to be making progress

Ooh, complaining time. One shoulder is 4cm lower than the other (from wearing an over-the-shoulder to TAFE with 14kg of textbooks in it), stupidly knotted muscles in my neck/back, fair bit of pain in my left ankle (mainly around my achilles tendon) after a couple of rounds of skipping and knee's that don't do what they're meant to (I couldn't even squat up until the start of the year).
