To explain the situation a little....

I took a direct hit to my leg from the falcon, you can see a little bit of falcon front bar jammed into the bracket too

so now you can see why i need a new slip on haha, and a few other bits and pieces!

The old fella failed to give way, i was doing 80ish and he was doing 40ish, i was lucky to stay on the bike but then i bought it to a stop and jsut threw it in the grass and layed down and waited for a ambo.....

Sooooooo

The million dollar question is... What exhaust do i get next? Micron dont make the Carbon Fibre system any more, so im after suggestions....
HYBRID_AE86
shit, just read the story, you manage to do well with dumping into the grass, dosn't look like too much damage. so how's the leg? what about a slash cut, buell style?
67-FKD
To be honest i would of dumped it anywhere, i was just lucky there was grass there!

Explain the buell style?
TTV8
maybe a Yoshi pipe, they always sound good.

lol im interested in starting it tomorrow to see what it sounds like
yoshi1000
Pull the pipe all together - then start it, will sound awesome...ear splittingly loud, but awesome all the same.
Wats the go with insurance - if the old guy's done the give way bit, then surely he should be up for costs and shit ?? That way you can fix up your bike, get the spare cash from your injuries - and come over to the better, Suzuki side ?? lol...sorry - that fukin sexye's sarcasm rubbin off on me...

Thanks brad, im still off work till tuesday sad.gif thank god for workcover!

Yeah mate! all good, insurance is picking up the tab for the slip on, im thinking carbon akrapovic will go best here now... its a smaller system too.
TTV8
Akrapovic looks nice
sexyxe
how much shorter is the akro?

got a pic of it? I think the carbon looks good on Z750
67-FKD
The AKRA im looking at will be similar size to the one posted by TTV8, looks to be smaller in circumference and length, haven't got a pic of one on the bike but ill probably roll with this!

But im still umming and ahhhing about a screamer pipe, micron have some sexy black ones.... but i dunno if i want my bike to be that loud haha, it was already really loud with the old micron carbon pipe.
yoshi1000
Prolly wouldn't have happened at all had it been a suzuki.....LOL!!!!!
Si
67-FKD

Ok a bit of a update, Akra dont make the carbon pipe anymore, and Jardine dont sell to dealers anymore, so they are both out sad.gif Micron have coem to the party saying they will make me a custom one to my dimensions though biggrin.gif

Still will consider the Leovince if they do a carbon version as well.
SSS-R
thumbsup.gif Leo Vince all the way thumbsup.gif they make some nice pipes

Micron are generally pretty quiet, so if you thought that was loud you'll probably hate an Akropovic or Yoshi as they'll be way louder
