do u have any pics of the hks verification TAG on the core?
just would need 2 know if it is hks...cause i have seen people put other tags on the front housing b4....
not that im acusing you..its just that u had it polished and there no hks on the housing...

Hey mate, thanks for the interest. Sorry for delayed reply, just got back from OS. Anyhow, appreciate your queries and I will answer them as best I can.

Firstly you will note the housings (especially exhaust) are HKS designs and will not fit on Garrett core. (maybe other cores I am not aware of...?)

The verification core is stamped as Garrett...here's a pic;

hey mate i have a genuine garrett gt45 sitting here has a 1.06 and ar.60 front with anti surge front and split pulse rear also v-banded just wonder if your keen on a swap?

Sorry mate...sounds tasty, but I am moving to a smaller turbo for my new setup...gt35r or T04Z...otherwise I'll keep and use this...
(fyi, this is based on a GT45 anyhow...so technically, I'd be going backward - no offense)

hey mate i have an XTR T-66 .70 front n 1.00 rear its ball bearing no shaft play made 400 on 15psi turbo was made by turbo logic and rated to 750hp pm me if your keen

i have an early model HKS to4z (anti surge front) with .96 exh and .70 front.

came with a smaller hks rear housing but was swapped for the garrett .96.
unsure on the a/r ratio of the original exh housing... nothing stamped on it.(except HKS)
zero shaftplay also. its t4 split pluse and v-band dump(both exh housings) interested in doing a deal?

It's not often you get offerred a swap to UPGRADE your turbo...think about it

a 3040 'should' be the same as a 3582r I believe? Basically the largest of the T3 flanged turbochargers. If it's new tuff33, PM me. Maybe keen.

It is a V Band flange, like all T51Rs I believe.

Also, forgot to mention it now comes with a (genuine but slightly used) 60mm HKS GT wastegate
