No our kits don't come with a thermostat on them... if one is required any aftermarket one will easily fit.

Will this directly bolt onto a CA18det?

Hi mate,
This will not be a direct bolt-on however the engine sandwich plate that comes with the kit is very compatible with most Nissan engines.
This kit has been used on CA18DET's in the past; with great success!

Hi mate,
Although the sandwich plate is compatible with all Nissan engine blocks professional installation is still recommended. We have sold many of these for SR20DET applications with only positive feedback received from customers so I assume installation is not a problem.
