hey im new to the boards . im just about to get my p's in a few weeks and i wanted to buy a car (has to be under 7k). i was thinkign about a holden commodore vt or somethign like that. but i also have my brothers old civic which is mine now, it has 207,000 kms on it so its pretty used, but i could do an engine swap on that. what do you guys think i should do??

Buy a small four man, Get a Mazda RX7 Series 2 or 3. Awsome power in them or even get a datto or somthing. I am a P Plater and went a 1980 Ford Escort. My car weights about 850kg and its a 2lt, cost me $4000 and its easy to mod and make good power. Its making about 105KW now and will beat pretty much any other P Plater thats N/A not to mention it's rear wheel drive
