i need sum repairs on my t56 gearbox..but i dont wanna take it sumwere n get rippd off cos i dnt no wats wrong wid it....n i cant afford to rebuild whole box and it shudnt need it...

i rekn i hav a fukd spigot bush/ or bearing....other then that it crunchs if i hammer it through the gears and if i launch or if i dont ease it off line....

ne ideas on were to take it wud b great cheers

Yeah, spigot is usually recognisable on gentle take-off. Sounds like his box would require some extensive work, maybe time to start treating the vehicle with respect.

pretty much wat mundi said....its whineing a little...and crunchs if u take off normally.. on take off i have to take off on clutch no throttle n then as soon as rolling switch from clutch to throttle or it will crunch
and a vibration but that is the tailshaft centre bearing n ujs....
and yer i am respectin it now...but now dont change the hammering wen i was younger lol

Any mechanic should be able to replace the spigot, just a matter of finding someone you can trust. Charleston Garage is usually highly recommended by Dave and myself.

charleston garage for the win haha, i left ash with my ae86. came back and he had made a cold air intake, fitted a heavy duty extreme clutch, modified the handbrake, and cranked the timing up

aite ill have to look into it....could be n expensive job lol...cheers
