means your network card isnt installed.

try plugging your modem in via USB or just install the network card drivers

Put that motherboard CD into your drive, and go back to device manager.

Right click on your ethernet controller with the yellow (!) and go properties then "Update Driver".

Point the wizard at your CD drive and it should take care of the rest.

get the model of your motherboard and go to the gigabyte site and download the latest ones.

if you cant find your model number:

find a computer with internet, download CPU-Z, handy little program - www.cpuid.com

run it(doesnt need install) on your computer with out the network controller drivers, check the motherboard tab and get the model number.

google it, boom.
