Ok so I decided to go with the 450d twin IS kit.. loving it so far however realising that practice practice practice is going to be required to really enjoy it.
Took it for a walk when I walked the dog tonight and played with some exposure settings but with no tripod makes night work a little harder.
Time to read the manual cover to cover a few times to learn some new tricks!
