Hey Guys just wondering...
Where can I take my car to get awesome shots of it like scenic shots in and around the brisbane/gold coast area?

My car is getting fixed this week and I really wanna get some nice photos of it to put in my room/post on the forum. Also my grandmother gave me the money for this car as a thing i could cherish before she passes away so she can watch me build it up from stock. My family either got 5k sets of jewelery or something material but she knew this was something I wanted and needed in my life. I would really like to get a really amazing set of photos made up for her so she can see my two passions come together. IPB Image

Im also pretty good with a camera so its not just going to be a waste of time for me.

Please keep all smart arse remarks to yourselves as this is something close to my heart.

remember a good car... or a good background... dont necessarily mean a good photo.
depends on the time of day, type and colour of car, effect you want, angle, light, process of how its taken etc.

your best bet... is to use places... that arent used all the time. and focus more on the car... as thats what you really wanna see.

the same places are over-used and are really annoying.
like the train yards down at hamilton etc

go for a drive to industrial places, parks, nice housing estates, country roads, whatever.

do you wanna show off the car?.... or the background?
depends what you consider scenic aswell i suppose?

im not a photographer by any means.... but i think shots like this (which were just at random streets, buildings etc pics of my cars)
are better than some filllllled with stuff in the background to focus on. and are more suitable if you wanna put them up on the wall etc.

Whitz
lookouts.... beaches...

just an idea

Thats my car.

1993 EG Honda Civic 3dr hatchback.
Its white.

Theres a sig I saw that I fell in love with.
Their Username is on_boost
and the pick is here: http://i40.tinypic.com/33dcz8w.png

I love that sort of stuff and yes I want a really quite area.
Some industrial and some really nature ones.

In the photo i suppose i wanna show off both if possible but either is good.

I don't want the photo to be super busy. and I don't want the typical take it to the beach kinda thing... because every photo my grandmother has of mine is of the beach. ph34r.gif
