couple of mates where heaing out about 2 weeks ago now, when we had all that rain. driving along the on ramp from smith street heading to nerang. came around a corner with a fair bit of water on the road coursing it to aqua plain spining the car around ass in first to the gaurd rail. turns out so we found the other day the diff went and locked up there for thats what we thought coursed it. both of them walked out lil shaken and few cuts but lucky to be alive.

as i found out the other day, just cause there is tread on the tyre doesnt mean they are still good in the rain.
AD07 top end yoko tyre with about 1mm tread left, and the back end of the fwd car stepped out on me big, thankfully it was on wakefield park and not the road, which is why i had the old tires on didnt expect the rain LOL

Bald tyres, auto in 1st, cUnit sticker...And it just aquaplaned...And the diff 'just locked up.
How about its just a shithouse driver in an unroadworthy vehicle, who fucked up and smashed his car. Can only hope the coppers are onto it to ream him one, and the only 'lucky' thing is that there was no oncoming car for the out of control commodore to maim the occupants of.
Such a shame he was robbed of his well deserved Darwin award candidacy.
Oh, also have some caused, causing, standard, yeah, tread, arse, guard, spinning ; and have a few miscellaneous ' " . ; plus some useful caps lock coupons.

Bahh tyres with tread are over rated.
Lucky he got out with his arse in one piece - the coppers will be able to make good use of it when they ream him sans lube.

i think someone was tryin to be cool and drift cause the road was wet. tried and lost it. car come off second best. cheesecutters with no meat, a fucked diff and the torque of a standard v6, and wet road seriously did you think you just got invided to the D!GP as the star driver, i think not. valuable lesson learned then!!

Readers/viewers will see similar pics where cars have impacted the start-treatment of guardrail.
Up to about 5 years ago, 7 US States had banned the further installation of this barrier system. In AUS you will note new end-treatments being fitted that help reduce the likelihood of barrier entry into the car, but not eliminate it.
I'll not comment on the driver or vehicle, or behavior.

Bullshit, they would have just skulldragged the broken pile of crap on.
Can't get over how lucky your deadshit mate was not to have the armco straight through his China-made Unit $100-note print shorts...
Sicarius123
Apr 27 2009, 11:39 AM
Looking at that there is no fucking way in hell they DROVE it onto the tow truck, if the towie was going to put it into any kind of gear, it would be neutral, presuming after the fact the armco hit the engine and pushed everything forward you could even change gears.
I don't believe for a minute the towie put it in first.
Just like I don't believe the fucking diff caused the accident, and not the OP drifting in first in his auto commodore with bald tyres with metal strips hanging off them in the wet.

Apr 27 2009, 01:22 PM
so he was drifting on a straight bit of road? tht makes great sence. and look close at the gear shift in tht pic. the center console has been lifted up and if u look close its in 3rd or drive.

Of course it couldn't of been the drivers fault. Saw this "Boost Cruising car crash section form" on another forum relating to this thread. Hit the nail on the head:
QUOTE
I guess the crashed cars posts were taking up too much space in general or off topic or something ?
Also, they should have a form letter set up for the crash forums like they have on some for sale forums.
Like you tick manual 5 speed and tick a/c to show what the car has instead of writing it all out in sentences.
EG.
When the accident occurred it was:
·wet
When the accident occurred I was:
·driving normally
·not doing anything stupid
It was not the cause of:
·the driver
·the bald tyres
·the unroadworthy car
·driving along at high speeds in 1st gear
What was to blame was:
·aquaplaining
·Kevin Rudd
·magical diff
When the accident occured I hit a:
·stationary object
My car had the following stickers:
·unit
·southern cross
·bad girl
I have been educated to a:
·2nd grade level of spelling

Heya =p
This was my crazy ex's car, was driving it to her house one fateful night when it suddenly rained. Tried to take a corner but the rear end slid and I did a n00b mistake.. stepped on the brake and the rest is history.
Uninsured and ended up paying 7K to restore the car ( illegally, its supposedly a write off ) - she doesnt want her parents to know it ever happenned. That frekkin 7K could be used to buy 2 used lancers for all I know.
So the way to get shit drivers off the road is to make it rain, give them unit stickers and let stationary objects take care of the rest...
