I want to mix a few songs together like shorten , copy, cut bits out of them but i don't know which is the best program. So far I've been using windows movie maker but is their something else better. What are your opinions?

For basic stuff, NCH's WavePad is great... and free. Theres also a paid version, but for what youre after the freebie is great.
It'll be under nch.com.au somewhere, just make sure you choose the free WavePad, not the demo (as its a time-limited full version).
