Hi, have a bit of an issue and don't know what is wrong.

Here goes, i'll try to be clear.

My missus and I both have pc's attached to the same router.

she wants to visit the site, www.lomcn.co.uk but her pc claims it can't find the site. Like it doesn't exist. She has always used this forum and it's worked fine. On my pc, I never use it, and the site loads perfectly. Keep in mind we are using the same router and this problem just started out of the blue today.

when I do a tracert lomcn.co.uk I get results

when she does the same thing, it can't find the address.

Any ideas would be really appreciated

Crap just noticed I put it in OT =/ My bad

Tried restarting?

Oh, also, it's probably a DNS issue on her PC.

Her computer is probably having a 'male look'

are you sure you arent using each others computers?

Its a DNS issue on her computer.

On her PC, go to the command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns

Also it wouldn't hurt to clear her browser cache.

Failing that, on her computer run a tracert to the site. It could also be her tcpip/network settings are misconfigured. Like she has specified DNS servers instead of letting the router do the work and autodetect.

It's fixed itself after about an hour. Any explanation or reason? Just so I know what to do next time it happens lol.

Dream; Her browser cache was cleared on friday or so. Also doing a tracert to the site was unsuccessful for her. But now it's just randomly working by itself. We did nothing but press refresh every few minutes for about an hour lol. I hate computers. Wish my pc had a 202 in it and not a fucking pentium or whatever I have. I could fix a 202 with my eyes closed sad.gif
