hey guys i've been downloading quite abit latley and i've been told that it'd probably be a wise move to run an IP blocker program on my computer..

just curious besides the obvious as to what it actually does, like does it change your ip address every 30min or something? And can your ip address still be tracked?

Any help would be great, even a link to a download would be good smile.gif

thanks heaps!

IP 'blockers' are good in theory. However, honestly, I doubt they're of that much use.

If some Government agency was out to get you, don't you think they'd download the IP list on PeerGuardians public website, and then use an IP that isn't in that list? bowrofl.gif

that is a good point....

next question...

how to get around what has just been said Lol
Chris
Why are you even worried about it so much.

Use I2P best for anonymity then TOR, this is free though.
For paid I recommend XeroBank.

anonymity on the internet is a joke.

Government/Anyone with some brains can back-track your IP unless you're bouncing through a few thousand zombie botnet machines.

So what.. you're downloading shit.. you're STILL a small fish in the sea which no one really cares about tongue.gif

They have other ways of tracking down pedophiles these days other than just IP's wink.gif
