Download them from the Toshiba or HP site via whatever net connection youre using atm? Then copy to flash drive and transfer over.

i tried that but usb is not installed either, then put them on cd and still didnt work so jumped on ebay and bought a universal driver disk, $20 so see how it goes, thanks for your help

I suspect a universal driver disk wont fix anything either. All it is is some little chinese bloke who downloads a whole heap of drivers and burns off CDs of them....

Ive got a HP with fresh install of Vista Ultimate on it (came with Vista Home, and no driver disk). I just went to the HP site and downloaded every driver they had, then looked up the Intel chipset used on that model HP (via Google, I couldnt find it on the HP site). I was lucky that USB worked, so thats where I copied from... but if USB isnt working just burn a CD yourself. Likely the most important one to get going is the chipset or motherboard drivers, which will often trigger a whole host of other hardware to be found.
