im sure a few of u found out today our good mate ken is leaving us.... going to organise a shindig for him in the next few weeks if i can convince him to stay long enough

Hi all, I am the "sis" you speak of, my name is Alicia... Ken is coming home to Brisbane/Gold Coast QLD

As I'm more an SAU Forum goer and am rarely on Boostcruising, I am mainly replying to this thread to get your advice as I can't get a hold of Ken right now, which is the best mechanic shop in Adelaide to get some repairs for the Chaser before we truck it up?? Want to keep Ken licensed in SA and the Chaser registered in SA so Ken won't come under the P plate no turbo/V8 laws here in QLD and have to drive a Commodore or the like - And so he has a car here coz there is NO WAY I am letting him take my GTR ANYWHERE!!

So any advice on where I can get the Chaser fixed down there would be greatly appreciated...

Hmmmmmm just had a looksie at the location of Charleston Garage and if the Google Maps don't lie, it's a fair way from where the car is located atm... I will be getting the Chaser towed there so as close as possible to keep low on the fees perhaps? If there's nothing decent close then I don't mind where it goes I suppose.... Thanks for your help!! I know of a plethora of great people and great shops here in QLD I could go to but obviously SA is not really my hood...

Wow, what happened?

Nothing too harsh, apparently it's unregistered, defected and needs work to be registered again?? If Ken's not telling us porkies that is?? And it'll be getting towed wherever it goes, won't see the road again until it's in QLD... Is he still driving it around??

charleston garage is my best mates garage, ive known him ten years, the chaser is defected for ride height and track, so needs stocker wheels, possibaly suspension and exhaust come to think of it as it is fair loud

I've got a ute, so I can meet you at the address if you want, my crane will be happy to see an inline four again.

we have to remove two engines and fit one. if you drive your ute out there and bring crane ill make it 200 to include fuel.
