1 Question.
Where did you buy these 'Adjustable springs'
They look like an eBay special.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-97-HONDA...sQ5fAccessories

?
Shane-o
fuck man its not hard to put them in, looks like one bolt at the bottom and 2/3 on the top, as for other issues arising, im guessing bushes busted ass ?
Boosting180
haha

ohh man this could end up bad :/
jashneilk
lol just get a pro to do it man
yatesy
piss ezy to do i could do them in 45-60mins. with right tools or at work. much easier with air tools.
High Boost Hero
yeh easy to do, and pneumatic tools make the job easier, your right to sus out all ure bushes, joints, and steering? Lowering a car changes the way it sits on all of these things, and often will have problems with clicking noises and play in them.

the problem with diy, is some times blokes diw ' do it wrong'
Kealii
hey man, i got these for my car... blew the struts out, and they are bouncy as hell.... if you put them in, they will be awsome for like a month... just letting you know!
bumbudal
they dont look at all that safe, haha. Kinda dodgy really. If they are the ebay special then i highly doubt the spring material will be of good quality.
CH_VRX
I would highly recommend NOT putting those in your car...they are indeed the cheap adjustable lowering kits you find on ebay...if you want to lower your car do it properly as someone said above...there are a lot of other things to consider. You really have 2 options - just get springs (this is fine as long as you don't want to lower the car too much otherwise it puts too much load on the stock shocks.

http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/index.php?optio...4&Itemid=31

Or spend the proper money and get full adjustable coilovers. Sooo Either get yourself a set of King Low springs (lowers your car 35mm) - they will cost you about 300 or so for all 4. Or if you want it to be adjustable get yourself a set of Racing Logic Coilovers - about $1800 Australian and verrrry solid - great for street and track.

Don't compromise on suspension coz those springs are weak as shit and could lead to big big problems. Sorry if you have already paid for them matey but they are a definite fail.

he reckoned my coilovers were going to burst through my strut tower because i was riding on the bump stops.

I asked him to show me the alleged damage to the strut tower, he was an idiot my strut towers are fine he didnt have a clue as to how they are designed.

Then he lectured me for 5 minutes about how he is qualified to do roadworthys and that mine shouldnt have passed.

What a dickhead, wouldnt take your drift car here unless you like being lectured by wannabe traffic cops.
High Boost Hero
Are you sure you were talking to jake?
blacks13
Forget his name was about 30 and i think he had tattoos

High Boost Hero
Nah that is the ex mechanic of fulcrum, so your right probly was a cocko. Ask for jake in future
sik_silvia
ohh man... please dont waste ur tiem putting these on your car, i had these on my car for bout 2 days and couldnt take it anymore. no offence ud be better off to just wait and save for coilovers.
dobermann90
even if you do manage to get the springs in without breaking any part of your car or yourself.... you will still need a wheel alignment

hey, i work at fulcrum stafford, the guy who you are talking about, he is Qualified to do roadworthys, and new most things, but even being qualified your still learning new things every day.
This guy doesnt work for fulcrum any more The New team has alot of Knowledge, and skills. i Appoligise for the inconvenience of this guy giving you lip, but i think he said something because he thought the car was unsafe, but saying that i havnt seen the car so i cant juge. As for your comment (wouldnt take your drift car here unless you like being lectured by wannabe traffic cops) we do regally work on professional drift cars, track cars doing wheel alignments and suspension modifications, so if you choose not to come here, im sorry for your loss. If you feel like giving our new team ago, to show you good quality work and good advice please dont hesitate to give us a call or even come down.
I appoligise once again for the behaviour of this guy, and i hope one day to see you at our fulcrum store.
