so i was playing Armed Assault just before, and i was thinking.... who here is gonna get ArmA 2 or Operation Flashpoint 2 when theyre out?

Will probably end up hiring OF2 or downloading the demo on 360 when it comes out to see if i like it first. But wont be getting Armed Assault.

I only play CS, Dawn of War and Starcraft on PC these days. If they were on 360 i wouldnt play PC at all. No point with a console.

Might grab OF2, got a feeling it'll be extremely simplified compared to the first though since its being made on the consoles as well.

yeah thats what im worried about.... i fear the changes that they will make..... but then again, what got me into OFP/ArmA in the first place was actually the xbox version. that was done really well for a console game.

meh, in the end, im probably gonna end up with both...

Righteo chaps, it has come to ones attention that the demonstration version of ArmA 2 is available for download. I have since downloaded this delightful program and am now quite thrilled with the game. This gentleman would like to enquire as to whether or not any other of my esteemed company would be interested in participating in a co-operative foray in the land of Chenarus.

Graphics in Operation Flashpoint 2 look insane, i hope i get to play on the civilian team again! I had the best time driving around in the civilian car and picking up other teams weapons then just shooting whoever. Looking forward to what people come up with in the mission creator they (hopefully) will include.

i got arma 2 yesterday...... tried it on a mates comp first then put it on mine.....



fuck its awesome! too bad my comp isnt as good as my mates. flying the mv22 is a real challenge too! im afew missions into the singleplayer, and im loving it so far. story is developing well, im actually caring for my team mates (first game where i've actually healed an ai team mate)....

only problem is i put in the new patch and i cant get ANY mp games..... probably a bad install of the patch...
