Once, I had this X series Falcon hit the brakes suddenly, I was in one of my 3 series BMW's, hit him at about...dunno, 20 or so and the whole front end was completely fucked.
His car? Only the smallest of scratches. That was IT.
I tossed him a $50, rebuilt the car...but thats not the point is it..?

The car in front was a corolla hatch, it was stopped dead and i would of been going about 70k when i hit it.
