hi there, currently where i work we have web based cctv,

the boss can log in remotly and view the cameras at anytime and we are trying to set up a system where, when they are logged in veiwing the stream a light or a popup appears telling us to work

Record yourselves working for one hour.. don't make any obvious movements just look like you are working. Then point the DVR software to the video and have it on loop.

what would be the point of having a light tell you when the boss is watching you work, even when he isn't watching its probably recording to a DVR so he can go back at anytime and see what happened at any time of the day, best thing to do is to do what you get payed to do and work.
