A 20% higher friction co-efficiency for slotted rotor than without slotted was proven in the DYNO test. The maximum difference of friction co-efficiency at a particular braking point in our favour was 20%. Engine tuning or suspension tuning can not make any change in a vehicle safety directly, but a 20% higher μ generated by brake components tuning can improve a vehicle safety a lot more and give a sense of comfort to the driver.
