Hey guys i am in desperate need of some technical help. i purchased a gt35/40 turbo off a internet based company and it has a v band exhaust housing. now i got the turbo and it didn't have any pipe pipe flange. so i went to local shops and autobarn and no one sells them for this type of turbo.
The problem is on the exhaust housing there is no where for the clamp(v band) to grip on to.
Has anyone had this problem before and how do you fix it, as i wrote to the guy i got it from and he said it should work.
The material is barley even there on one side of the turbo but on other side there is about 3-4mm of material for the clamp to grip but i got the clamp on and i touched it and it fell off.


Anyone had this before or know how to fix it?????

Try taking it to a performance shop and get them to weld it on.

If it were me and a piece of metal broke off my turbo, I wouldnt put it on my car.

Ask for a refund and buy a genuine garrett. There was a guy selling a gt35r on soarercentral for around that much.
