Guys this is a big chance for us to do something good for some Aussies who need help very badly.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you would have seen the devastation in Victoria.

I would like to try to do something to raise some money for these poor people who have lost
their family members, their homes and all there posessions.

What I propose is this. I will arrange a few CB photographers, and for the guys, maybe a bikini girl or 2 for a photo shoot. Miss Street Cruising, Hunney Harris will be there. We will all gather at a particular spot and get a few photographers to take photos of cars, with or without the girls, at a cost of $25 a car. For your $25, you get a couple of photos on disk and an A3(400 x 300) blown up photo of your pride and joy.
If you would prefer, we could also make available a night photo shoot on Mt Cootha with the same deal, and if you have seen Jamie's(Digital Emu) work he does up there, you can get some fairly spectacular shots of your car in A3 (400x300). Chuck a frame on it and you have something of quality to hang on the garage wall.

The awesome people at SIMPLY SIGNS is going to do the printing for FREE, which means all proceeds go to the bushfire victims. Here is your chance to do something for some Aussies who need help and who have lost family members in this tragedy that has virtually wiped out more than half of the entire state of Victoria in a matter of 2 days.

PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT - I will not go ahead with this type of thing unless we get enough
numbers to make it worthwhile. I will try and make it a date that suits everyone.

It is locked in mate - I have posted on several forums and I already have enough interest to make it happen - Come on guys - More than 1/2 of Victoria burned - Let's help them - It has got to be worth it for a blown up photo for $25

I think it may be worth contacting SAU and merging this with their currently proposed Bushfire Cruise of the same weekend. Worth considering anyway.

I was thinking about organising a(nother) cruise for charity, this one is definitely a good cause though.
Pity my cars not show-worthy, or I'd be there for sure. Mind if I post up a link to this thread around different forums? I reckon I could get at least another ten cars for you.

yeah, i would seriously suggestly mating it with the skylines australia cruise as a lot of ppl will be divided between both

will attract a lot more people if its going to be one huge cruise

My thing is more of a single meeting place with photos done than a cruise - Perhaps you could have one of your stops at the photo shoot - Then some people could support both - I would definitely encourage it

It doesn't really matter to me if you go on the Nissan cruise or come to the photoshoot or both buddy - As long as you get out there and support the victims - That is what it is all about

Contact the media as well, get some coverage with TV, Radio, it will do wonders for repairing the hoon image. Maybe Today Tonight might actually do a story??? You never know, but its a good chance for people to see that we are not all dropkick morons that don't care for anyone.
