im going to put rear gaurds on my silvia, but i want to know of people who have done it and how it turned out

any advice on how to do it and how it looks and fits would be great cheers. hsdance.gif

using more pop-rivets and smoothing over them with bog/glass is best.
imo looks cool without smoothing too...

looks gay when u can see the rivets, bog them in, bog all seams so it all looks like part of the original rear guard, stick on crap looks tacky

on my 32 i didnt fill in the rivots we just left them and it looks tough i reckon. torana style hahaha

Sticking the guards on is the easy part.

Making sure the original fender has been moved/cut out of the way is the more difficult part. No point putting on wide fenders if you arent going to be able to use them!

BTW: if its a show/street car then bogging up etc will make it look neat. If its going to see damage then I recommend using only a few self tappers. Makes install and repairs SOOO much easier.

its bronsen baileys old bloody car..... he couldnt steer the thing to save his life so he sold up and i havent heard of him since laugh.gif

Actually, that vehicle was owned by Gary from Tokage. Bronson was simply enlisted to drive it.

He does still slide, just not so much in the limelight these days

I know the 1st time they took it to QR they spent more time backwards. but they had 18inch rims and had high tyre pressure

garys new driver/car set up is a weapon! they are doing some "top sercet" stuff to it atm should be good to see at QR.
