The 848S is more commonly known as the 1098

Wouldnt be worth them making one as they wouldnt really sell a more expensive 848 against the 1098

Base 848 is enough of a bike anyway with 130hp and 170ish kg, and you're right you would just buy a 1098 if you wanted any more performance.

But they are a great mid-sized superbike.

desmo arent worth the coin IMO.. the 1098R makes same power for alot less coin... sure it would be nice. but I dont want one.

buts its dream bike.. not IRL bike... u dont have to pay for it, it doesnt even have to exist (yet ;ph34r:)

But the reason they didnt make an 848x is because it will clash with the base 1098 sales apparently (which was their main focus)

oh yeah. those F4 variants are damn nice bikes.. forgot about them..still prefer the 1098R though..

he was saying that not many people would choose an 848x over a 1098 whereas ducati were saying that they didnt want it to clash with the 1098 sales.. (just nit picking.. lol im bored )

No MYB16 is right, what I was saying is what you said, they (Ducati) wouldnt bother making one!

Another bike I would love to own is the Ducati 916..I remember reading so many articles about that bike back in grade 8 and 9.

One day i'll have a nice collection of Sportbikes in my garage!

1) Husqvarna SM510R
2) Dedicated Drag bike - Something in the 1000 category. That will run low 9's.
3) 500hp, standard swing arm, 8 second street bike. Possibly the above bike slightly modified!
