manual chasers are quite hard to find.

Need to find a JX90/JZX100 R154 box as they have the remote shifter setups. JZA style manual boxes wont fit. You will need the pedal box for the floor, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch line, clutch itself, flywheel, pressure plate, change the spigot bush bearing in the back of the engine, tailshaft, manual surround for the centre console, can run the auto ECU on a manual conversion if funds are tight, you also need to work around the electrical issue with the ECU thinking the car is in park and not starting, Dont need to change the radiator but would need to block the auto tranny lines, dash cluster change if you dont want to look at the gear selections, etc etc.

Easy enough to get around the traction control and "snow mode" if you do some research there is a JZX90/JZX100 forum here in Aus with plenty of info:

Pity they didn't release many of the JZX90/JZX100's in manual form, less than 10% of each model were released as manuals and are highly sort after.

Well HSV summed that up nicely and refered you to a good website. I actually have a TRD Chaser myself. Mine is auto but may look into the manual conversion down the track.

Here is the link for mine : http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....=340200&hl=

massively overpriced in my eyes. I personally wouldn't go to the hassle since i couldn't do the work myself but you can get nice looking jzx100 chasers in auto for 12k on carsales atm and the cheapest manual starts at like 20k

The shifter arrangement is different, I believe the Supra box has the shifter sitting back a good 10" from where you want it.

ahhhhhhhhh truuu fair enough!! but should i just go for a manual chaser?? cus im thinkin its gunna add up bout same price for conversion and buyin a manual one.... plus i dont needa worry about screwing up the conversion, rippin out the motor and stuff like that!

another option you could look at is manualising the auto gearbox. I have had a little look into this but not sure exactly what is involved but apparently you can have it like a normal manual gearbox just without a clutch which sucks a bit for drifting and other motor sports where you may need the extra control you can get by using the clutch but it's an option i guess

manual conversion kits are around $2500-$3000
