heyy,

going to go to spindles in the front because of the smoother ride and i was wanting to know where to pick up a set and for how much?

also does anybody know if there are any STANDARD bump stops from other vehicles that are lower then standard hilux's ones for the rear, i don't want to cut them and i dont want to buy aftermarket low profiles as it's too obvious and isn't it illegal? (could be wrong)

i am on a good behaviour license so plz dont offer the usuall "do it an run the risk" solution,

any help would be appreciatted,

hey mate
drop spindles can be bought from most custom shops i.e DW customs living low etc about $500 give or take $50

i heard the holden crewman bump stops are quite small????

ohh and i thought it was only illegal 2 modify or remove manufacturers stock bump stops i assumed that lower profile ones where legal????

nah prety much anything u do to your bumpstops is illegal, and drop spindals in the front, wont do much if your ute is just bottoming out on the stops. depends on how low u want it to sit... the front stops can be cut and are very hard to notice if you shape them to the original shape, probably best off getting low profile stops.

where can you get low profile bump stops for a hilux anyway?

king springs sell low profile bump stops specifically for "lowered applications" click me

it doesn't say hilux on it anywhere but im sure u could make it work i find something similar, i personally have hilux with cut bumpstops im doing the whole "run the risk" thingo but yeah if ur on probation u shouldnt..

good luck with it man

i thought with drop spindles you could wind your torsion bar back up so its not on bump stops, i dont want it any lower then it is im just making the ride smoother,

and sorry i forgot to mention that i live in BRISBANE,

thanks for the crewman suggestion i will suss that out but yeah puttin aftermarket bump stops in are illegal im pritty sure, ppl just do it instead of the "bit of rubber on the chassis" trick.
