Good video, I might have to bring the Starlet GT Hill Climb car down for a run there looks like it would suit it

Cool mate, would like to see you this year, it's on 4th and 5th of October, mark it in your diary!

what do you mean only managed 3 runs before it blew up? that's good for a rotary isn't it?needs more handbrake into hairpins!

I've always wanted to go down and do that hillclimb. I don't really want to now. The track is a bit dissapointing. and how rough was that narrow corner before the haybail chicanes? the street sprint guys would love this course!
Funny, no one who drived it calls it "Dissapointing". Come and have a run for yourself, then make your own judgement. Has been called by many experienced hillclimbers such as Peter Gumley, Peter Finlay, etc the best hillclimb in the country!
The corner you are reffering to is known as "the pinch" steepest and most notorious corner in hillclimbing in this country. I've been up it 20+ times in competition and it still is very daunting. Many have come to grief over the years, including written off cars. You only have inches either side of the car to the sandbags and it's 110+ kms entry speed.
Check this out for what happens if you get it wrong, unfortunately the guy in the white evo did some major damage:

should come to bathurst and do the nsw round in march
Yeah have always wanted to make the trip mate. It's a pretty big hit in the motorsport budget to travel and stay from Newcastle but have been wanting to do it for a few years. Going to Tamworth and Kempsey this year........
