toyta celica the first gerniration...

What would the TA22 need to make it driftable and would they be any good at it? Thinking of trying to set one up going to get ride of the 2t and put in a 4agze or an SR20 not sure yet... What else would be needed?
JB
it wud need coilovers, plenty of power and a good driver
ke70slider
Coilovers would have been def.. thinking of 4agze Turboed that enough power? and not so good driver? so its doable?
JB
the good driver is more improtant. but you learn it as you go, i myself cant drift for shit becuase i have never had practice. I have a few good slides every now and then but its practice that will get you there

and a 4agze with a turbo is definetly enough power, anything above 200hp at the wheels will get you sliding easy, just learning to control it is what is your biggest problem

Sometimes you need power to drift though.

thats where the 4agze comes in that should be plenty of power for a car that wieghts around 1ton... just like the ae86. only diffrences is the suspenstion is harder to set up in the TA22, any ideas on what i need for that like brands and types and what not?

mate u can slide anythin all u need is skills and balls, ive had my 1.6ltr mk2 escort sideways and its bog standard no schocks no diff, just put grippy tires on the front and keep powering through a turn until the ass of the car comer out itself then keep your boot into it and give it some opposite lock. anythings possable
