(new to slr's)

i originally wanted to buy the a200, but then the a350's 'features' got me going, but i keep reading reviews and the same thing keeps popping up that the 14.2 mp isnt as great as it sounds, and better off sticking with the a300 because of the noise reduction

and is it the case of the a350 with the 14.2mp just out-doing the lens it comes with?
thus the extra mp being useless?

has anyone used one or had any problems/ anything good to say about any of them?
