Just wondering how many of you guys get pulled over randomly for no reason just so they can give you an RBT or check your license etc ?
A few ppl i ask have been stopped a few times but others have never been stopped at random on a bike ...
depends on the type of bike and the area i guess ...
Just curious

I never get pulled up randomly, but i guess it depends on your riding style and your attitude.

Twice on the bike in one year, once in the car in 4 years.
The car was in the CBD very late at night, so quite understandable. First time on the bike was a weekend arvo near a shopping centre, second was the morning commute into town. Last one was a bike cop pulling over all the two wheelers he could, saw another couple by the same guy that morning. Good bloke though.
I was never doing anything wrong at the time, and the cops were just checking licenses. Bikes definitely get more attention (than a standard car at least).

I wouldn't count being on your L's mate. In the car that is. You're very unlikely to be pulled up with L plates in a car.

I REMEMBER,
I got pulled over for an random breath test.
But wasnt really that random, cause they followed me from the pub. What would have been random, is if I was pulling them over, and we were ALL naked.. Instead of just me!
Yeah, I know, old thread... But I had to say it!

RBT / license check for me.
1 L plate on the back, narrowed it down to..
no shirt / arm out the window / instructor looks pretty young
week before that, i got done $160 + 2 points for not displaying L plates.
and the instructor got a $160 fine too, at a road side RBT

in horsham i used to get pulled over regularly on my P's in a car but it was a old corolla covered in mud with a huge exhaust.
since my new car i never get pulled over, lived in ballarat and melb and only ever been pulled into bretho stations. oh and one time when i overtook an undercover cop and kept speeding, needless to say he bent me over the bonnet and raped me up the ass with fines and a canary....
on my bike i've only ever been pulled into bretho stations twice, and never been randomly pulled over. mainly ridden in melb but been to bendigo, ballarat, geelong etc a few times as well....
oh on my old dirt bike i got pulled up in the scrub near horsham as i was riding home after breaking my foot but cuz i had rec reg i was ok... was a park ranger but hence the broken foot i couldn't ride off, not that i needed to cuz i had reg and a lisence anyway

Hahahaha, nice.

Been riding since October last year and have not been pulled over randomly to this point (touch wood). Only been pulled over on a group ride for an RBT - but we all were.
