as mentioned, show me what you guys have
thanks eric

1990 Model Kawasaki JS550
2cyl 2 stroke
Fully Rebuilt only had 2hrs runnning time.
Twin PJS carbs with K&N Air Cleaner originally only single carby
PJS hi comp head was shaved when rebuilt
Full PJS polished exhaust and supertrapp replacing the standard waterbox and zorst.
440 crank with rev limiter removed. The 550 is a half cut crank whereas the 440 is a full crank thus it revs a lot higher.
New stator plate.
New Starter motor as standard wasn't powerful enough to kick over as compression was too high.
All new gaskets, rings, bearings, seals, hoses & all stainless nuts, washers and bolts.
Rebuilt jet pump.
Longer ride plate.
Changed intake grate much better pickup.
Pole spring to take weight off your arms.
2 Finger pull throttle rather than thumb push.
Bilge pump on a switch installed and hood has been modified so can duck dive.
Hasn't been run in salt water since rebuild I use to live in Newcastle NSW and rode in the surf now living down here in Bayswater and its not getting any use.
Only problems are inside the fire extinguisher compartment theres a hole. Doesnt leak water and will still hold an extinguisher but if you keep keys in there they may fall inside the hull.
Impeller has a tiny chip in it but doesn't seem to affect performance.
This was an old race ski and is very quick for its age. Quite easily beats my bro's Polaris 900 3 cyl triple carby in accel.
Can upload pic of engine if your interested just dont have one on this pc as I'm at work.
