looks ugly, it's not very smooth like canon
and it's not really that impressive compared to what canon are doing

ISO may only go to 6400, but think of the intended purpose of this camera. It isn't designed for sports and the like, more studio, landscape, stuff with controlled lighting etc.

i was expecting a higher ISO aswell.
like TD said high ISO sure comes in handy when your doing a wedding.
if they make a camera like this why would they limit it to do specific genres of photography like the ones blownhr mentioned, if i was paying top dollar id expect it to do everything.
i suppose its just going to be used by pro-studio shooters.

6400 @ a wedding is more than enough when you're using < 2.8 lenses...
Bergie.. canon do the same thing mate.. 1ds3 is not a sports camera, 1d3 is.. one has 20+mp and 5fps and the other has 10.2 and 10fps. Thats how it is.. the reason sports models are limited in MP ability is due to processing speed

ahh ok. my limited knowledge of pro cameras would explain this lol

6400 may not be a huge iso number, but nikon have tried to squeeze as much detail out of this iso without having to expand to higher rating.
