fullysickr31
nice bike , how much u get it for?
TPG
I give it a couple of months, no make it weeks until it dies. I had one in between my KX125 and 600RR just to stay on 2 wheels, it lasted 3 weeks.

To its credit though, it didnt run for over a year, I just spent $100 on it and its all good again, for 3 more weeks..

i call b/s, or poor maintenance or running it in wrong, me and 4 of my mates have the exact same SWD racing bikes, 5 in total.... they have been goin for months and we rape em, so much fun for 700 bucks
Chickiefromoz
i'd agree my mate has one went chargin 2 weeks ago through rivers deeper than the bike, mud pits, hill climbs, tricky trails it didnt stop the hole time.....people forget bikes are mechanical working things that require attention after every ride
dommie13
Lemon.
2_b_lowed
700 omg
I got mine for $1000
Slav
good fun those
xrichiex
all the people who say pit bikes are shit obviously havent ridden owned and maintained one

i have an orion one and 3 of my mates each have an orion bike

for 6 months we have been riding for atleast 5 hours every weekend offroad tracks just bashing around and only problems we have had is needing new tyres
JD
Ha, ha. Buy a real bike.

You don't need to own one to know, many of my mates have owned pit bikes worth between, $3000 and $500, they ALL fucked up, and they were fun for about 5 minutes.
Buy a full size bike and you'll know what fun is.
OBIE
Sorry mate, between my friends we have owned around 8 pit bikes, they are all un safe (I MEAN IT!)
The only safe pit bike is a fully customized pit bike made of real parts (steel) not old beer cans.

When checking the tightness of the bolts with your hand, that is enough to sheer the heads off the bolts. ohnoes.gif
510OVR
buy a real bike ill give less then a month and u will be up here posting how u fucked it lol nut good luck
MuchDa-Bogan
ohmy.gif omg u payd $700 for these.. i bought cr125r 02 for $1500. sold that and bought a yz426f for $2500. y would u even waste ur time on china bikes
514med
meh i brought a thumpy thinkin they were cooli ended up throwing it to the dump and brought a cr 125 now that some real fun
72XAfairmont
G'day mate.

Nice bike, whats weight of the bike, and whats the weight maximum for the rider to be on that bike, and whats the hight wise from the pegs to the seat?

Cheers
Matt.
TUR60
try a 520sx ktm. then tell me what a real bike is.
liljohn_92
every1 that is shit talkin about the pitbikes are fuckin idiots ...

they can be reliable as hell and pretty tuff too my old motor got flogged for a year starit and still goes

and there actually quite fun on a mini mx track ..

if it was a cr125 and a pitbike on a mini mxtrack the cr would get flogged by a bike half the size
ba-utey
be careful with the pit bikes that aren't actually a 'pit boss'. these ones are cheaper for a reason..they just can't handle a adult jumping them all the time.
TPG
I have owned many bikes ranging from motocross bikes to Sportbikes to little kiddie bikes. The pitbike failing was not due to maintance nor run in, it was failing parts. It was nothing serious, but when the bikes are only worth $800 spending anything over $100 fixing them is just a fucking waste.

Why don't you guys buy full size dirt bikes...is it the price thing?

Hahah your kidding right ?

maybe a propper pitty would keep up, but not chinatown ones, they would get smoked by a 125. My old 85 use to dust them.

anyways nice pitty good for a first bike but the china town ones MOST of the time do end up braking but then you just get a bigger bike and its awsome fun

thumbsup.gif
fast-turbo
man if ur gona post a bike up..post a real bike up try a cr500 01
liljohn_92
um nah im n ot joking cuz i said a mini mx track where you cant use the cr125s to there power ...

dude im sure that minibikes not a china town 1 as pictured. a real pitboss as stated is 1000 times better built power ect.
liljohn_92
yes i know its not a china town 1 but you can actually modify bikes and give them more power better suspension and stronger frame and so on and get it to the same stage as that 1 in the video ... im not a fukin idiot i have a pitbike myself and even though its a cheap 1 i have modded it and now it goes heaps hard
1jz-vs-wagon
these 125 lifans are ok for what they are, i payed 770 for my old 1 but it was modded and i raped it, lasted but it kept breakin chains the way i rode it lol, thats only a pit boss mate had the same 1, they sell at dragon motorcycles in capalaba for $750 they break very easy tho, and if not run in properly u will have some nice probs like rings burning out etc, blowing smoke and what not, after a month of owning it i got bored, even with mods etc, my mate had a jap 250 and i raced him and beat him, he had 1 extra gear but i still beat him 110km as the quickest i got outta mine, but a ktm 250 sxf is on the agenda now.

Exactly The bike in the video is a REAL pitboss not Chinatown

Yes i know you can modify pittys so they could beat a 125 but we are talking about chinatown pittys there is hardly a hope in hell that a Chinatown pitty NO MODS would beat a 125

I also use to own a chinatown pitboss and i can tell you if your going to get chinese your gonna have problems.
if you like riding pitboss get a real one Eg. Thumpstar

liljohn_92
alright a stock 1 wouldnt beat it

you cant buy genuine thumpstars new anymore cuz terramoto has gone out of business
cubzin
they are alright just need a bit of TLC
laynlow
NICE BIKE MATE LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE IN FOR SOME FUN!

CUBZIN IS RIGHT THOUGH IF YOU GIVE THEM SOME TLC THEY'LL KEEP ON going

i'm sick of people paying out the china bikes people just buy the cheap china bikes for a little fun only a idiot would pay 3-5k for a pitbike unless you were really serious about racing or jumping it!

i've got one of the original china bikes that is still going strong... yes i have rebuilt it with quality jap parts but it was still cheaper than a jap mini even with all my extra parts!

i also own A larger honda so no one come at me saying i should ride bigger bikes because i do, the mini is just there for a bit of fun
TPG
How much for the re-build?
1jz-vs-wagon
get urself a 140cc or 150cc bore kit, cost you $150, adjustable racing cdi cost you $90 carlsbad rear tyre cost you $50 pro taper cr50 bars cost you $85, new sport exhaust cost you $100+ and then play with the front n rear sprockets to determine ur power to speed, and then u will beat jap 250s no prob, i had next to none of those mods, the tyre wont make a difference but its just more run in the mud/ dirt, mine only had the new racing cdi and i beat the 250 so yea they make anywere from 8 - 13 or more kw in power. oh and as for the cr125 its a 2 stroke and wud cane the hell out of these little 125 lifans, even an rm65 beat my old bike. so yea just so u know, if i wanna know more info etc and where to buy good parts for it let me know and ill hook u up.
drift_that_rc
HA so your saying a pit bike would beat my 2008 crf 250

sorry next time i will use my eyes to read rolleyes.gif deadbeat

you said jap 250cc which can be honda, kawasaki, suzuki, yamaha 250f or 250 2 stroke

i do not know of a jap company that makes a cheap 250, but there are plenty of chinese companys that do

so maybe you should get your facts straight before you post shit dunno.gif

and who ever got beat on the '' cheap crappy 250cc'' by a pit bike must be brain dead, half/full retarted, non motorbike rider or you

thumbsup.gif

PS: get a real bike

who'd have thought a bloke posting some pictures of his new bike would start such a shit fight!!!!

bro its a start, im sure youve read all these comments and are sick of hearin fellas talk ya down, as far as im concerned, if you ride a bike and ride it to have fun, who cares if its a 50 or a 1200, you goto start. ive been ridin for 5 years and have ridin my fair share of shit bashes eg,1980 dt100 which i traded for a set of go kart tyres. its taken five years but i have just purchased a yet to be ausrtalia released 2009 yz450f for just over 12k. i tell you one thing if you dont start at the bottom, riding bikes such as the one i am waitin on, you have no chance of understanding the tech and how to ride such bikes. gl with it, trust me, youll wanna upgrade shortly, its an addiction if you get into it!!

i brought my 150 braaap about 4 months ago and it has flogged every other bike its got a little bit of race gear on it but thats it and i havent had one problem with it, and i flog it everytime i ride it.. obviously everyone has different opinions and each to thier own but instead of bagging ppl out keep your opinions to your self coz its not needed and its not nice... i thought this site was for people to talk about their cars and bikes etc not for arguing and mouthing off at people, go to myspace or facebook or something....
i like it anyway smile.gif
