Hi to all fellow Tasarcticans.... Just wonderin if anybody has or knows of any supercharged 1uz v8 soarers in the state?? I know theres plenty o twin turbo 6s. I think there may be a celsior with a charger but not sure... Its always good to hook up with poeple runnin similar gear!!!!

Im heading upto QLD in dec to collect my new pride n joy... A 91 soarer,charged,currently on 5psi with tons of potential. got a 9psi pulley to go but gotta do a few extras before throwin it on. Im pretty sure you will see it about when i get back.

At what end of the state will this soarer be located? You are correct when you say there are several TT 1jz soarers getting around. The soarer is an excellant car if correctly maintained. Look foward to seeing some pictures of it. gl with it.

What is that name of the chap you are purchasing it from? If it is the one I am thinking of he is very reputable in various soarer orientated clubs. The soarer is definately a fine cruising machine. Has yours retained the automatic transmission or has it been converted to a manual?

I just had a read about it, a great sounding ride you have secured the purchase of there. Unfortunately I was unable to view any pictures, however I would be glad to do so at a later time. It seems to be a different person selling this vehicle to the one I suspected it could have been. I have recently myself also opted for an automatic transmission in my current ride for similar reasons to yourself.

Theres a guy on the mainland about to start selling twin turbo kits for the 1uz, I'm going that route for the celsior. Twin T28's, piggy back ecu, cooler, fuel pump and injectors on 14psi they make 300rwkw on a stock bottom end. They are crazy tough for a stocker and have made 2700hp on 50psi (obviously insane internals)

There a tuff as engine. check the coin test on youtube!! Its rare to hear of them dying,usually when people take out rev limiter and stick it to 8.5?????? The 1uzs are gettin put in all sorts o things,a gemmi on the mainland and a celica in queensland apparently...

there is a twin turbo 1uz powered TA22 Celica on the mainland, also has R33 GTR running gear!! Tough as!!!

Oh yeah i forgot mention the stock bottom end can handle around 800hp,and a stock top will handle upto 500hp...But obviously wouldnt really wanna risk it.... Ill get the 9psi on with a few other mods and should get 260rwkw. Then its onwards and upwards from there....

Had a few oldies. We got a 97 wrx a whilr back but that was more hassle than you could imagine.... Drivin a koteezz cordial like i stole it at the moment,but thats needin some attention....

Just running off the actuator on 9 psi, but you can feel the mad difference this thing has in huff!! cant wait to wind her over a bar and get it tuned!!! thinkin 16-17psi
