Had GHWT on pre-order for ages, cant wait until Tuesday to get it biggrin.gif

Will probably buy RB2 as well as it has some cool songs and lots of DLC.

Quality of the world our drums is better as well.

World tour, way better choice for the wii, better drums etc. however im just buying the standalone then getting the drums later (allready have a usb mic somewhere and 2 guitars)
Chris
GH are shit IMO. Id rather play a fun game while listening to music.

from all reports the GH:WT instruments are buggy as all hell. the track list is also lame, and im guessing theyll support it with as much DLC as GH3 - barely any.

my brother bought Rock Band with the instruments and its a hoot. bad track list, but its all about the DLC!
misslala
i already have rockband, have for about 2 months.
its pretty good, i think we will end up getting both tho.

theyre the only songs i want to play off WT, and even some of them are suspect. i love metallica, but 'trapped under ice'?! wtf!? same with NOFX - soul doubt?! seriously, thats the NOFX song they pick?! 'dammit' will be good, but incredibly easy to play, especially on guitar.

Rock Band has over 300 downloadable songs already = win.

the RB guitar is not to my liking, and the drums can be a bit unresponsive every now and then, but word is that the GH:WT instruments are just as bad - reports of drums not working and guitars buggering up are all over the net. add this to the fact that target isnt getting any instrument bundles for the 360 because of problems with them, and its not looking good for WT atm.

most reviews say GH:WT isnt as good as rock band too.
zimma95
Most reviews I've read say gh:wt is better than RB1 but not RB2, which considering the rb team had a year to fix initial bugs thats to be expected. Also keep in mind the rb drumkits we get are the original RB1 kits as well which well both the guitars and drums had issues with durability. The WT drum issue was to do with one of the cymbals sensitivity which can be altered via a pc application and a midi cable from what I've read. As for guitars the main buttons etc i havent heard bad things about, only the tap section which has issues with misreading presses and sensitivity.
future_dictator
well.... i went to game today and grabbed rb. drums+enter sandman =workout
