Mr_Bex is bringing home a copy from his work tonight so will give it a go then. I enjoyed the last 1 even if it wasn't a long game.

dammit my failbox has the RROD so i cant play it....

it isnt bad. The visuals are good.

split screen co-op is still good fun

and we finished it, took us 2 nights to do it in co-op

gears of war 2 is the best game youll play this year, probably next as well. probably every year until Gears 3 comes out to be precise.

i reckon it is. i still play gears 1 multiplayer to this day, although it will be retired now to make way for the new king.

ah see i'm not a big shooter multiplayer'er on consoles. If i was into that side of things more i'm sure i'd rate it higher.

epic game is epic, such an engrossing game. Dominates Playstations game lineup just by itself

doubt it, wait till resistance 2 and killzone 2 comes out

the R2 beta turned a lot of Resistance fans off it, looks far more arcadey than the original and to some it was too big of a departure from the original.

killzone 2, well thats still at least 4 months away . gears 2 will own it, but damn its gonna be good.

GOW2 = epic, my god just finished it, fuck its awesome. Same cannot be said for the multi player

the multiplayer is awesome when the servers are buggered like they have been for the last few days. microsoft have admitted theyre having problems. itll be fixed soon enough, then we can get back to the awesomeness that is Gears 2 multiplayer.

just picked this bad boy up the other day

picked up a copy for 40 bucks should of played it on hardcore beat it within a day
but the multiplayer is just pure gold especially assasination games
