as mentioned in the topic title im looking at buying a new digital camera.

my plan is to get something to be compact and as small as possible.

my current camera is a sony dsc-t7 its really thin and i like it, but the quality isnt on par to the cameras that are available now days.

there are a few super compacts ive seen but im not sure which one is good.

Sony DSC-T77
Panasonic fx38
Olympus Mju1040
Canon ixus90

these are the ones i probably would choose between.
the camera must be as good as it looks.

otherwise id just get an slr or something.

Just to clarify, you work at a camera shop, where there are people who obviously have more knowledge in this department then many members on boost, yet you disregard their information to come and ask us?

id go ixus personally face detect and colour change cool features

thanks dave, but thing is i get floor cost, so i doubt anybody could be able to beat the prices i can get.

i can get the ixus 90 for like 275.
and the sony for 355.

so i really think of getting the ixus.

and to the comment above, work mates all told me to go ixus.
but its just that the sony is more sleek and thin.

For Point and Shoot I purchased a Canon IXUS 80IS and it's great so the 90 would (hopefully) be even better.
