Anyone watch the race this morning.
The last few laps were interesting to say the least, Lewis only really had the championship sewn up really in the last corner when he passed Timo Glock, and the rain added a bit of spice.
I had a lol when Ferrari celebrated only to find Lewis gained that place on the last corner.
Your thoughts?

Its a shame though that the Lewis and Massa were the top drivers who made the most mistakes throughout the season yet they were both in contention to win the title...
Yeh Lewis was handed a gift when Glock let him through on the last corner...Shit happens for Massa I guess...
FERRARI WINS CONSTRUCTORS!

I think McLaren will be taking Glock out for a few drinks.
Incredible for a championship to be so close it's decided on the last corner of the last race by someone not even in contention for the title.
Good on Hamilton for smashing one of the pussycat dolls and winning the title.

was a fantastic finish, possibly one of the best in f1.
it was down to a bit of luck to hamilton but regardless, hes been no.1 for pretty much all of the last 2 f1 seasons, so more then anyone he deserved. his consistency speaks for itself
but what a story it would have been if he didnt reclaim the position and massa won. at his home grand prix. feel sorry for him
always next year

Im also calling sus, sif you loose THAT much time.
Hamilton prob pimped out the pussy cat dolls to the other team for a weekend.

for everyone saying it was sus, do you not remember what happened on the last lap at spa?
Lance
Nov 3 2008, 03:37 PM
Last lap at Spa was insane. Look at Kubica re Spa. Ended up on the podium when he chucked on the wets.
If it was Timo Glock letting Hamilton through then it was very subtle because Trulli lost the same amount of time over the last lap.

Ahhhh what consistency??? Massa won more GP's this year than him...
He is such an unsettled racer, one race he races alright next race he's being an absolute asshole and is slipping and sliding all over the track putting other driver's lives at unnecessary risk.
Then put him in the wet (like Brazil) and he drove so average...
I mean look at Vettel, the kid is in a shit car and he drove a superb race. He was all over Hamilton in those last few laps.
Vettel will hopefully end up at Ferrari in the coming years and will most likely dominate F1.
Lewis was handed a gift to be in the Mclaren and he was handed a gift this morning by Glock...

mate, massa is equally as guilty as hamilton for dangerous driving, there both pretty terrible in that respect...
was an uncharacteristic average race for him in the wet, because normally he's one of the best under rain conditions...
certainly cant take anything away from vettel, but that goes the same for robert kubica....

Well that's why I said in my first comment that neither of them really deserved the world championship...they are the two drivers that probably made the worst mistakes....
Massa and Hamilton are not equally as bad as each other. There have been countless incidents with Hamilton this season, far more than with Massa. I'm not saying Massa isn't an aggressive driver but compared to Hamilton, Massa has his head screwed on properly.

Hamilton is the most overated driver to be in F1. His old man has bought him a drive in everything he has gone in. Yes I know the stats on this kid before anybody starts having a go at me.
Losing 17 sec in the last lap is BS this race was so rigged and needs someone to look into the corruption in this sport. It's run by an old cranky bastard that has lost his mind, it is the most boring type of racing going around that it's losing veiwers worldwide.

Uhm, the two Toyota's both lost the same margin in the wet, both didnt get the intermediates. Hardly rigged I think.

one only needs to take a look at accumulated points in the last two seasons. lewis hamilton has the most points over massa and raikonnen. he deserved it. admittedly, luck was on his side. wet weather races hes average? your having a laugh. did you not see his wet race in britain at silverstone? after that many were saying that this proved him to be a truly talented driver rarely seen
but i will agree that vettel is a good driver, and so young too.
hamilton has all the hallmarks of a true great. but unfortunatly he has more to do more to prove the opputunist critics wrong.
anyway need to bring back hakkinen

how the fuck was it sus it was pissing down with rain and glock was on slicks.
Hamelton's dad might have helped him get his drives with cash but he did Win EVERY caterogry he has ever competed in.
the only way F1 is sus is because Ferrari in with the FIA and Burnie
and being an aggressive driver is the way 2 win, if u just pussy foot around u will get no where, look at Alonso and Shumacher, aggressive as and look how much they won

It's nice that Lewis Hamilton won, but Massa was just as deserving of the title. It would have been bitter-sweet for me regardless.Best of luck to Massa next year and hopefully the Lewis hype will calm down now.

It was a pretty exciting race, indeed!! So much drama towards the end of the race. I was rooting for Massa because I don't really dig Hamilton that much. But he proved himself worthy during the last turn. He had the skills and the passion to win so kudos to him. Kudos also to the Ferrari team for winning the constructor's trophy. Can't wait for Season 2009!

i wonder how Hamilton is feeling now that they are trailing Team Brawn. I think Lewis needs to learn how to act like a champion -- yes he is good but he is quite an arrogant dude too
