how tight should i wind the springs? how tight should i have the damper? how low should i have it (its still street registered) what tyre pressures should i run. how much camber? its only a ca18de. learning to drift so wanna get good with no power so when i do have power its easier.
any help would be great.
TRY TOO
Lots of camber to help with the power side of things.

And as low as you can go smile.gif

Tyres 35ish on front, 60ish on rear, will spin plenty easy!!

thanks bro

I always wind the damper out to max and adjust by reducing front/rear until I'm satisfied with it.

wat coilovers u bought if u dont mind me asking?
scottay_22
they are g4 but the 1700 ones not the 1400 ones
jeffers1987
id say set them at half damper. and adjust to suit. front as much camber as possible. try and get rear out to as close to straight up and down as you can. tyres id say go for around 36ish at the front and around 30 in the rear. (as you skid the tyres get hotter and tyre pressure goes up)

ca18de man i agree with earlier post 60ish in the rears as far shock setup make it lower in the front and higher in the rear (get as much weight off the rear wheels as possable) and just play with the damper settings and c what u think

i just fitted a set of g4's for a mate, imo, their cheap chinese rubbish. felt no difference from the fucked monroe's and super low kings that were already in it. anyway. in the g4 manual it says not to have the spring over tightened.. so i just left that the way it was and adjusted the overall shock length to the desired height

wow 1700 would have got you a dam good set of tein ha's. second hand maybe but still you have peace of mind that fulcrum rebuild teins.

having 60psi would be pusing your luck. tyres heat up when drifting
