There is talk of holding drift events at the maryborough showgrounds, though i have a feeling this may not happen for safety reasons.

It isn't that far to drive to ipswich, there are plenty of events on at QR and Willowbank. Then you also have events like Archerfield etc.

Get onto www.secretdrift.com.au There is information about most local events/ drift school etc in the forum.

Check out the events run by "Riverside" great event for people learning, et also a heap of fun for people already pretty confident.

ipswitch is hell far to drive from the sunny coast... especially when you could blow your motor.. all your tyres.. or any number of problems...
when you are nearly 3 hours from home you dont want that to happen..

late night industrial areas are your friend.. gutters are not..
scottay_22

Jesus - if someones car can't travel from the sunny coast to ipswich without breaking down why the fuck would they want to learn to drift in it?? First sign of sideways action and you'd have to tow the fucker home anyway?!

You need to learn to spell and/or construct clearer sentences before throwing stones.

You must also pass primary school english before slinging your gay wisdom at me

WTF?! Dude you pick on some of the most randomest people eh?? You do know that forums are like family you pick with one you get them all???? You fucking dumb arse.... And to answer your question, the best place by far to do you drifting and shit is Guympie at the skid pan, just as long as your crap heap lasts the session, or Maryborough in June every year they hold, the Wheels on Wide Bay, that is a legal rally cross/ drift event.... But you do understand you probably need to get your car tuned right, then get your attitude in order incase you undoubtably LOSE, and you might wanna hold a current CAMS registration before any on track drifting....

I was an apprentice too once you frigging twerp!!!

Previous statement aimed at stessy04....

I think he means IF something went wrong with his car ie:blown motor while doing burnouts a 3 hour tow truck ride can be a nasty bill on top of the repair costs....
scottay_22
i work in the kunda park industrial area and there are shit loads of cops out there every night now. i work nights and its always when i am leaving work, they have pulled me over before and know i am finishing and going home, so they sit on my arse just to put the shits up me. bastards.

Just to clarify with scottay and bobo and anyone else that my previous statement may have upset, It was directed entirely at Stessy04... as there is no reason to create issues on forums, I was simply meaning that forums are like family and if one person upsets that family it involoves more than one individual person....

I apologise for any misconceptions and problems caused...

Hoever I will not apologise to this stessy character that can't leave it go,
