hmm i like the comp in the second one, but your model doesnt look like she is enjoying it. she has a pretty "stiff" stance, and her facial expression could be better, but hey that not your fault! lol

^was thinking the same thing... looks like she has a sore back.. she is not relaxed looking at all.

Cant blame her, it was the last set of the shoot in that location, she had just spent 1hr standing on rocks, with a softbox in her face

Dunno man, to me the first one looks like she is radio-active or something, so orange. It's a pity in the second one her eyes are lost in the shadows too.

Its probably the amount of flash plus makeup we used.

I was done with the car. Wanted something more reliable, and chews less fuel.

great shot lance i like the perspective. although a snoot would of been really good as it wouldnt of lit up the grass in the foreground as much but more of the two people.

great shot none the less, a very hard time of day to shoot.

Nice photo Lance, would have been wicked like two strobes down low high power through some diffuser umbrellas or some sort, but still a good outcome, but a tad room for improvement well done

I have to shoot a formal this wednesday, still unsure of how it will all go, tomorrow afternoon I will spend some time to draw up diagrams on how im going to setup my lights etc... Might even scan a photo of it

i went surfing today lance, at snapper and burleigh, it was all pretty big, getting up to 6ft, but didn't go out too far, as i havn't surfed in years but getting back into it!
