Some really nice cars frequent antilag...

I was down in Perth a while back, and I saw a fair bit of cars down there. But I've seen more modified cars in Darwin... In FUCKIN DARWIN!!!!!!!!

Western Australia should really do something about the car scene, as I may be moving down there soon, and I'd like to go to drags/drifts at least every second week...

What happens down there? Is there a lot of events and so on? Coz the WA section of Boost is pretty dead...

But I have to admit, the cars I've seen down there are pretty impressive. Seen a few WRX's around Fremantle, and a few old skewl cars going around, but thats about it... Hope there's something to do down there.

Oh and I agree about the girls, they're much pretier in WA!!!

All you have to do is look at the powercruise we had, 630 odd cars, and 400 of them were pushing impressive figures... not as much show but definately power.

And that event didn't include the japanese car enthusiasts (not many of them anyway) as it was considered a bit "bogan" and the ricers didnt want the Trev's giving them shit.

If you are into your japanese cars have a look at antilag for some really nice cars, also there is Perth-WRX, SilviaWA, Skylines Australia, redlinegti, OzLiberty etc. for car specific communities which are used alot more for WA car meet's and events.



There are drags every Wednesday night at Kwinana Motorplex (Whoop Ass Wednesday) which is open to all licenced and unlicenced cars as for drifting it is done at Kwinana motorplex and details can be found on their website.

w.a tend to go on other forums, too many 17yr olds thinking they know whats fully sick, or clowns wanting to swap cars.

i think our problem over here is that everyone thinks they can do a better job then the next guy, so they start their own club make up some fucking stupid names bust out some even worse looking stickers and roll around looking like spangers, epic fail in my books

just boost isnt big over here plenty of wa based clubs

antilag is the main japanese forum as mentioned above (and car specific forums of course), don't know about the big engine sites, never had one to investigate...

dude, WA is not dead, this site is just not big over here, im an antilag guy and we have some very powerful cars, like one of the other guys said, we have alot more go than show over here. antilag reps one of the most powerful and fastest street skylines in australia, deathrow and ants gtr and bobos, we have steve who won the targa west in his r35? u guys over east got many of those, steves was the first and now we have 3? for the holdens and fords, we have plenty, its all just on other forums. haha rant rant, we r win!

If you like the lapping crew (spew) then head to down to Scarborough Beach on the weekend and enjoy a couple of bevvies at Peter's there, sure you will see a few nice cars.

But in all honesty, unless you are out at 2am in the morning in a fairly remote location, you won't see the best WA has to offer.

Another option however is to hit the strip at the Motorplex for Whoop Arse Wednesday depending on how long you are staying (closed for Christmas and New Years).

Holy crap, we are staying in Mt Helena!!!!! Its nice to see substantial road re-decorating in the area, like every road in the bush, will be keeping an eye out! And im staying for a little while, in Esperance atm, and its all 4x4 country, nice 4x4's tho....
