Hey guys, a mate of mine has a KE30 Corolla he is wanting to setup for a reliable sub 12 second drag car. He's been talking to a few workshops about possible conversions, but was wanting some advice from boosters who had any knowledge to which would be the best path to go down.

He wants it to be a relatively easy conversion, with an automatic transmission. Rotary or piston engines accepted, and trying to keep the car road registerable (so no engine CC's over 2450 - or 1250cc rotary).

If you find somebody to engineer a 13B with a Supra box behind it, expect it to be quite quick (I know it's not strictly legal, but I'm sure somebody would be willing to engineer it for a bit extra).
Any other of the aforementioned engines could potentially do 12 second passes, provided you have the right money.
