very simple my friend if you want to use it for rock crawling you would need some huge soft high profile tyres which would cost you say about at least $900 each for the tyres. and you would deffenetly need an intercooler beacuse with rock crawling your doing high revs and no speed so your engine wil heat up very very quikly specialy being a turbo. just put it this way the modifications to a car like that would be endless all depending on how much you want to spend. from past experince man 4WD's are ****ED they need alot of money. engine on my explora blew up twice. it was an off road one too.

money i have.....and these hi profile soft tires? can you give me any info on them? and why did you get an explora? only 4WD i would trust are the landcruisers and patrols and sometimes the navaras and mazda BT-50

Man my explora was good i did have a bit of a work done to it. i use to go 4WDing with a few mates they had landcruisers and i use to kill them landcruisers, Speed, sand downs and the whole lot. the only problem was i needed serviceing twice as much and use to go through fuell like crazy. first time i blew it up i was doing a burn out in the sand the diff layed in the sand locked the gearbox and blew the engine, second time didn't service it for a long time then it just decided to blow up and i just couldn't be stuffed and more. and the tiers i'll find the sit and send it to you next time im on. they are special rock climbing tires expencive things but its worth it if your into 4WDing.
