Dont even waste your money, my landcruiser is 13 years old the previous owner went to fraser twice a year since brand new (i know because its my girlfriends parents they owned it since new) ive had it for nearly 3 years been to fraser twice, moreton once, and straddie once. Not a spot of rust in it, look after it by washing it down every time you go to the beach PROPERLY and youll be fine.

Depends where you live too, My GQ has only seen rainbow twice and fraser once ( i know as i bought it of my old man) and its getting little rust bubbles above the windscreen

so looking at getting it cut out and some form of rust protection.
I put the rust down to living near the beach, salty air im guessing as it gets washed every friday after work and everytime straight after 4wding

of course if you live near, on a beach or near salt water you need some form of protection. My comment only realyly relates to people who do trips to the beach and islands

I have had it on the Lux and also fitted it to the Prado. It helps keep the paint looking good among the other advantages. I can actually tell when its been disconnected while the truck is being worked on for periods of time. There is a definate difference in the paint work when its on.
Scam some may say but I will never own a 4wd without it. It is not a substitute for proper maintenance but it is another aid in the fight against rust etc.

Just be sure if you do buy the ERPS system that your vehicle is totally rust free and the paint work is all intact eg no scratches to bare metal. I sold these systems about 6 years ago and i thought they were good, but i was having a conversation with a panel beater/spray painter mate of mine and he said he has worked on vehicles with the ERPS system and cant see the point in having them fitted as rust was evident on various points of the vehicle. But with anything some people have good experiances and some bad.

people put them on and their well aware of rust that is present on the car
It slows down the process of rust, buying them more time to get it fixed etc
