I bought one a couple on months ago

. Yer mate the vti-r is the vtec model and has 142kw, then there's the si model and base or 's' model below that. They weigh 1300kgs or there abouts but go alright once you get into the high rpm.
If it has a sunroof make sure you check that extensively for rust as this is the most common area for car cancer. Also i needed to replace my timing kit a little while ago so i'd give that a look as well (mine was at 150k).
There are also a fair few jdm imports floating around as well. They just have a couple of extra goodies like electric folding mirrors, digital climate control etc etc so be on the look out for that.
However the major thing you'll need to check is the 4ws (assuming its audm) because if this fucks up there is a hell of alot of cash involved.
With the minor mods of i/h/e (intake/headers/exhaust) they can make decent power.
