B&H are fantastic though, i order a item of them on a monday, the payment cleared by tuesday, and it was here by thursday!!! i was stunned! their prices are so cheap and like klye said, with for the dollar to go back up and it will be even cheaper!

i recomend teds - southport speak to rob or chris or des tell them i sent you they will look after you.

that's alright man, also the $ should be going back up soon, america seems to be going through an economy crisis or something, kinda saw it on the news this morning

Big fan of camera's direct, they still working out of the clown store in the industrial area? Prices for product there are pretty much best going. Not even my work could give an employee the price they gave me on my 400D with 17 - 85 IS USM +4GB card nore could the cannon rep for Sth East Queensland for that matter

I've been looking for the Nikon Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 lens. Cheapest I've come across is $2,400 from camera's direct.

Edit: Seems to have increased in price since last I looked.

yeah that lens is gona be expensive everywhere, for along time i think. supposed to be the sharpest nikkor lens made?

and that's one of the main reasons i use Canon

I hvae bought a fair bit from digital rev and also from b&h. Both have been unreal to deal with. Postage is always so quick, and so cheap. Picked up my d300, mb-10 grib, sb-800, 4gb card for $2500 about 3 months back. awsome

ive been hunting around for prices for the sigma 70-200. at almost every shop its $999 dollars which is very good, im thinking because alot of the discount shop are the same price

i found a better price. $899 at photocontinental, and im hoping that they will do a deal for me when i buy it, ill get a uv and a C-PL for it aswell.

a friend of mine said she spent a lot of money there and they lopped off $300 and when she said she was paying cash they took off another $100!!!

Was through digital rev, they had a special on at the time. Guess i was just lucky.



Also picked up the sigma 70-200 f2.8 a couple weeks ago for under a grand. Fantstically sharp lense

wouldnt have a clue... but im sure if you did buy alot of stuff they would give you discounts. just like a jewlery shop, they do mark up on things.

hardley normal is a joke - they had $600 on the ticket for my Olympus 1030SW, $500 on the side of the box and they price matched good guys for $400 - i only went there as they had the last silver model in brisbane
