In WA, what exactly is required for legal shaved doors? I'm guessing an engineers cert. is required too.
As for running a car over the pits, its it like over east where you even sometimes need a permit to have larger rims on your car?
Thanks

I am not 100% surewhat is needed to legalise shaved doors but yes they will need to be certified by an engineer.
There is a certain size you are allowed on a car without requiring a permit, this can be found on the DPI website I am sure.

The 2 sizes larger is just an estimation, that is not actually the legislation. There is a ruling that it must not vary from the original total diameter by x%. And there is a sizing chart available through the Depart of Planning and Infastructure.

It use to be that you could only 1'' bigger than the largest factory fitted tyre on the car. So if you ran 14*6'' you could only go to 15*7's. DPI has a list of all mod's that don't need to be engineered. All Mod's to the body that change it in a stuctural manner need to have a engineer sign off on it.
