I am organising a visit from Dan from Chipmaster in WA to tune some LSx commodores in October. (looking at being the 13th). Location of tuning is yet to be determined. Price is $800 for mafless tune, $1000 for cam/FI tune. Touch up tunes can be done if they are already chipmaster tuned.
If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP. I will set a cut off date where a deposit will be required to confirm a tune time. I will also need as much detail about your car as you can give so Dan can organise himself and allocate time accordingly.
Sorry it is just for commodores.

I believe it is about $200-300 for Dan to touch up one of his mailorder tunes...
I had him 'touch up' my old VY's mailorder, went from great to awesome!!!
Cheers, Mick

The tuning will be on the 13th October at Premier fuel. A deposit of $200 is required by cash, cheque or direct deposit. I am waiting for the deposit details.
For your question, about $300 ish if it is one of his tunes. If it's someone elses, then it could count as a full tune as he would have to start from scratch depending on what's in it. If you send me some details via pm, I'll send them on and see what he says.
PS Taylz I will bring your head and gaskets back this weekend!

Ok guys, gonna make the cutoff date the 15th of this month for deposits.
Price list follows:
Touchup of Chipmaster tune: $300 (Must be a chipmaster tune for a touchup, if it isn't he will not use the current tune and will require a full tune. May have to unlock the pcm which is at no extra cost)
Maf tune: $600
Mafless tune: $800
Cammed/FI tune: $1000
Dyno time included in all tune pricings.

Please get your deposits in before the 19th September (next Friday) so flights, accomodation and Dyno time can be booked. If there is not enough deposits by then, there will be no visit as he needs to cover his costs for travelling up here etc.
His email address is: info@chipmaster.com.au if you would like to directly talk to him.
October the 13th is confirmed. Tuning will be at Premier Fuel. Can be cash to me or direct deposit to Dan.
Just a reminder guys, if your tune is already a chipmaster tune, then you can get a touchup. If it's not, I can not guarantee you won't need to pay full price.
Direct deposit details are available on request
Please let me know if you pay so I don't harrass you to pay when you already have!!

Don't know when his next visit will be. They are not planned and just organised off our own back.
You haven't missed out if you want to be involved in this upcoming tuning period. Still spots there.

He pulled 240rwkw outta my ute up from 210rwkw
However I never got a AFR print out when my dyno run was printed out.
But otherwise everything else seems to be good, I'm currently sitting around the 15-16lt per 100km (and that is worked out on the fuel going into the car to how many kms)
Haven't done a highway run yet, I leave on Wednesday for a 4000km run so I'll let you know what it is like.
BTW this is in a VZ Ute with the L76, manual, only got tri headers, high flow cats and twin 2 1/2" pipe work, and now the tune.

From my bolt on time, I was able to get 12.0L/100km around town with Dan's tunes and able run low 12's at the track. He told me he is running mine rich to be safe.

when mine was stock i was extremely happy with his maf-less tune also...changed my whole car (i think this was more to do with the auto calibration than anything) i was very impressed
do you know if there are any other tuning trips planned by chipmaster or another reputable LS1 tuner planned?
looking for someone to tune a cranky little 346 N/A combo

None that I know of but if you ask around people who have LS cars and get numbers enough, we can organise Dan to come up again. Wasn't too hard to do. Just need 4 full tunes at least for it to be worthwhiel for him to come up.

Good idea to grab a few more not only to make it really worthwhile for him, but just in case you get a couple drop out. Might even throw mine back on just for a quick checkup!
